Remember Preview? If you started your academic career at Illinois State as a new beginning freshman, Preview provided an unforgettable experience -- you met with an academic advisor, registered for classes, and learned about the many opportunities available to you as an Illinois State student. If you're a transfer student, you probably recall the day you arrived on campus to meet with an academic advisor and register for your first round of classes as an Illinois State student.
In the beginning, there was someone looking over your shoulder, helping you step-by-step through the registration process. University College Academic Advisors are still here to assist you with making wise decisions about your college education, but it is your responsibility to actually register for classes. In fact, a significant number of walk-in hours for short emergency questions are always available during the last week or so of registration. Contact University College Academic Advisement at (309) 438-7604 for available times.
Each semester, the Office of the University Registrar provides explicit instructions regarding class registration. For information about starting dates/times for the current registration period, visit the calendar section of the University Registrar's Web site. As you may remember, you probably registered for classes via the iCampus portal. You should do the same this semester. Go to iCampus to find your registration date and time as well as a listing of course offerings in the Course Registration Directory and Planner.
