Peer Advisors
Peer Advisors are undergraduate Illinois State University students working within University College Academic Advisement. You may see a Peer Advisor when you make an appointment in our office.
Peer Advisors have the following responsibilities:
- Conducting individual advisement conferences with students
- Explaining and reviewing degree requirements and the Academic Progress Summary and iCampus "Progress toward my degree" link
- Contacting students regarding advisement and academic support services
- Staffing the University College Academic Advisement Help Desk and Phone Bank
- Office and caseload management tasks
- Assist office staff with customer service related tasks
