Developmental Math

What is Developmental Math?

Developmental Math helps students acquire the skills and background needed to successfully complete those math courses, required of all students, as part of the University's General Education Program.

Classes provide fundamental math skills with an emphasis on teaching the way each student learns best, with individualized instruction. It is for all students wanting a solid foundation in college math: new students, returning students, students who haven't taken a math class in several years, students wanting to enhance their mathematical backgrounds and competency.

Developmental Math is a division of University College, providing instructional and tutorial assistance to help students be successful in math at the college level. University College provides comprehensive assistance to students in all aspects of student life, academic and extracurricular. If you have questions regarding Developmental Math or what University College can do for you, contact us at or by phone at (309) 438-3360.
