First Year LinC

What is First Year LinC?

Moving from home to campus can be a shock, even for the most experienced among us. New faces, new places, new schedules, friends, food, new freedoms...it's a lot to take in all at once. There is a better way than sleeping through every breakfast or wearing the same pants for weeks on end or staying up till 3 a.m. once a week writing papers or cramming for tests. It's called First Year LinC.

First Year LinC won't get you up or make the coffee, but it will help you get through your first year with the least amount of pain and angst. Give us the first eight weeks of the fall semester and we will show you how campus life can be a whole lot easier with just a few tips.

You will learn how to find the resources you need, explore your major and/or career interests, and develop strategies for getting involved on campus - it's the University's how-to course for life after high school.
