The Undergraduate Catalog lists the General exams accepted for credit at Illinois State and how the credit applies to General Education as well as CLEP Subject exams. Credit for these subject exams is awarded for the specific courses listed.
The College-Level Examination Program gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know, by earning qualifying scores on any one or more of the 35 CLEP examinations. A total of 2,900 colleges and universities in the United States will recognize your comprehensive subject knowledge acquired through independent or prior study, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, or internships.
