Individual Assistance:

In addition to the regular workshops, individual appointments may be made with a study skills facilitator for assistance on the above topics. These appointments may be a one-time arrangement or may continue throughout the semester. Please contact us to set up an appointment.

Workshops by Request:

Study skills facilitators present workshops by request to campus groups and organizations. Arrangements can also be made by faculty members for presentations to their classes. Please contact us for more information, or to schedule a presentation.

Study Skills Workshops

The Julia N. Visor Academic Center conducts Study Skills Workshops to help students develop and refine particular study skills. Please select a topic that interests you from the links on the left for a description of the workshop and the dates it will be offered this semester.

To guarantee a seat, please register online by clicking on a workshop listed on the left and providing the required information, or call (309) 438-7100, or come to 012 Vrooman Hall. All services are free of charge and open to all students.
